The Australian Writers’ Guild has just announced the nominees for the 42nd annual AWGIE Awards to be presented in Sydney on August 28.

The AWGIE Awards are open to AWG members and are the only Australian scriptwriting awards judged solely by writers. Bookings for the 42nd AWGIE Awards open in July 2009.
